Performance History/Background
Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Gabe has been consistently honing in on performing with the saxophone for almost 20 years. Trained in Temple University’s jazz studies program for 6 years straight with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree, Gabe is no stranger to reading any kind of crowd, no matter what style of gig it is.
Gabe’s 2026 performance schedule included work as:
- Featured Sax for Philly Star Events’ corporate and wedding celebrations
- Nightlife Jazz Sax Performer across top Philadelphia live event venues
- Club and festival performer with a signature open-format style
- Warm, flexible, and personable presence as a band leader
Whether it is a solo performance or a full-fledged live band of multiple musicians, Gabe is dynamically adept to playing the saxophone under any surrounding environment, and even has the ability to fluently switch to other instruments such as the flute or clarinet. Currently, you can see Gabe ripping saxophone solos with popular jazz singer and recording artist, Chris Murray, setting the melodic atmospheres with the DJ’s with the Philly Star Events Team, and enhancing the boastful sounds of wedding bands such as Skyline Lights and Swift Technique.
